SV: Trespass
This was a very retro episode of Smallville. Lana was stalked, someone left a threatening gift in the Talon, Lex's security was laughable, the subtext was strong. It even ended (nearly) with a clex barn scene.
I pegged the bad guy the moment he came on screen, so the main plot was rather dull (I managed to fold two loads of laundry during the show). But it did have one nice twist: Here was a guy who worshiped Lana, put her on a pedestal, called her princess and wanted to save her from Lex. And he was the psychotic bad guy.
Lana showed her usual sense of entitlement when she took advantage of Chloe's and Martha's hospitality to snoop. And despite Chloe's comment that she picked up bad habits from Lex, Lana has gone after Chloe's email before. But that happened many seasons ago. Of course no one remembers.

Heh. This ep pushed all sorts of buttons for me, but having read the plot was "Lana has a stalker," I expected little better. The Clex scene at the end was nice, but I just couldn't deal with Martha putting Lana in Clark's room, or, even worse, Chloe's remark about Lana picking up her snoop skills from Lex. I ask you, was that necessary? Only, as usual, to excuse her from all blame. Blech.
