For once I agree with something Bo Kent said.

It is as absurd for Lois to be a campaign manager as for Jonathan to run for state senate. I will be very glad when this plot arc is over.

Overall, I thought it was a weak episode for this season.

When Clark had the 'beyond the bounds of friendship' discussion with Chloe, did anyone else imagine one of them suggesting they try supersex, since it would be ok if Chloe saw Clark slip and use his powers?

I did like the Mionel. I keep wondering about Lionel's motivations. Is he really afraid of Lex winning or is he trying to keep him on his toes?

Lastly, I don't know if they meant this episode to be a dig at Lex fans, but I see how it could come across that way. Was anyone bothered by that?

In retrospect, I'm less bothered by the possible dig at Lex fans than at the
implication that he can't get any sane/competent support. Not that Jonathan can, either, if he's using Lois as his campaign manager, but they seem to expect us to believe she is capable of that job. Grr. Just more about this arc not to like. At least we get a fair bit of Lex.
