I guessed as soon as Lois was affected by the aphrodisiac that she would end up forgetting everything. That was clinched when Clark revealed his powers. But I loved the part before Clark was affected. I haven't laughed out load during a Smallville episode in ages, but when Clark disappeared after Lois came onto him at his house I roared. I was also amused by Clark's reaction to Lois loving him for driving a tractor.
Hearing the words "Mr Duck" come out of Lex's mouth was quite a hoot, too. (Although if I were Lana I'd be ticked that I hadn't been consulted about nursery decor).
It's nice to see Jimmy stick up for himself. I think Chloe does take him for granted.
There were a lot of niggly plot problems:
Lionel should have been at the engagement dinner. It made no sense that he wasn't. Clark recovered from the red K way too fast given that the green K box was closed so quickly. The whole aphrodisiac plot was contrived.
But this episode was loads of fun.
The best part! Lana's baby appears to be some experiment cooked up by Lex. That is a plot element I can get behind. Oh, and Lex looked hotter than he has in a while.
Alas, the preview for next week looked terrible.
